Match results came out yesterday and I got my first choice site: Jefferson City, MO. The Director of Student Medical Education is a pediatrician who works in the Community Health Center so I'm ecstatic to be able to rotate with her there. My med school twin Erin also matched there and the planning has already started for all the trouble we are going to get in to in the next two years and we are dragging along one of my fellow PNW transplants (he's from Portland). I was really hoping that getting the match results would give me motivation to focus so I actually get to make the move but it has proved to be increasingly distracting.
