This is definitely the worst part. It's sad that I have six days of break left and the time I will get to spend with my mom has been severely reduced to watching her sleep or taking care of her while she is sick. I am really glad I got to be home for the beginning of this but it is going to be hard leaving knowing that the worst isn't over yet. This is just round one. The oncologist informed us that round 3 will be the worst with these chemo drugs. The hair will be gone in 3-4 days, there will be more bruising, more throwing up, more tears from all the pain, and lots more pills and shots. I guess this is a great view into the patient perspective. Boy, is this rough.
