My bags aren't packed but I am ready to go....

Lots of laundry to do. Then packing for the trip that will end with one of my best friends and my "niece" becoming my cousins. It is going to be a hard trip. Going through the door to my house there will be a couple things missing: my sister and my dog. On a high note, I get to see my best friend who I haven't seen since the beginning of January, I get to spend a bunch of time with my "niece" and "nephew", and I get to see the fam. Boy is it going to feel cold compared to the upper 90 degree weather I have become accustomed to here.
